Good luck - I hope this one is authentic! It certainly looks great - the WAY211A is one of my favorites in the current collection (I prefer the smaller 41 mm size over the 43m). Just out of curiosity, how much (approx.) did you end up paying for it? I'm not looking for an exact number, but perhaps a percent range off of the MSRP? I wouldn't trust buying a current aquaracer or F1 unless it was from an AD or certified pre-owned from an AD. The current aquaracer collection doesn't use this style of seconds hand, so this isn't making any sense to me.Īs many others have said before, replicas of the the current aquaracer (and F1) series look very real now. Not only that, but I'm not recalling a yellow tipped one either. TAG Heuer hasn't used this style of second hand since their 500m aquaracer models (IIRC). The seconds hand is really throwing me off. It is a factor to consider, but as jamesbizs said, some fraudsters out there have used this tactic before (in fact, they sell multiple watches with the same serial number). Click to expand.Sorry - I don't want to worry you, but just because a serial number is registered with the correct model doesn't mean the watch is authentic.
